 (imdb)

COBRA VERDE-1987-In his fifth and last collaboration with director Werner Herzog, Klaus Kinski plays the title role, an outlaw sent on a mission to Africa to obtain slaves. He winds up leading a revolt against a mad West African king.

This is the least seen film with Kinski that Herzog directed owing to the production company going out of business after the film was completed. Kinski made three more movies after this, including PAGANINI (his last) which he directed. He died in 1991 at the age of 65.
