THE UNTOLD (AKA: SASQUATCH)-2002-A group lead by a billionaire bio-tech CEO (Lance Henriksen) goes looking for a crashed plane that carried his daughter and some kind of DNA machine in this inept boring Canadian horror film that borrows from THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. They run into the legendary monster and Lance watches a video his daughter left behind. The group argue about the rich guy's real intentions and are terrorized by a hairy bigfoot creature (shown mostly in POV shots). The direction by the debuting Jonas Quastel is really annoying at times.

This was definitely not very good, but I wonder what happened to spurn so many Bigfoot / Sasquatch movies as of late? During the 70s, the Boggy Creek movie being a big hit led to a ton of other similar movies, but what happened in the 2000's to bring on all these movies ... Abominable, Sasquatch Hunters, Sasquatch Mountain, etc. etc. etc. It's a mystery!
Yes, you have a good point there! Perhaps there was some real renewed interest sometime in the early 2000? i don't know. There certainly wasn't any major studio box office hit for them to rip-off!
